Who am I?

Have you ever had your own cook? My name is Wati I'm here to tell you about ancient Egyptian food. The meals usually consist of bread, beer, figs, eggs and mutton. We get are food from around the Nile where the soil is rich.

How is Eating Different between the Poor and the Wealthy?

The wealthy would eat up to three meals a day and the other people would eat up to two. There was a lot of game like antelopes, gazelles, hippo, crocodile, ostrich, waterfowl, goats, cattle and even hyenas. If you were not wealthy you would have a cook if you wanted one. If you were not wealthy you would cook for your self.

Where Do We Get Our Food?

I will talk more about the food. They would get their food like milk and meat from their game. And from the Nile because it brought rich soil and the crops got water and they would grow and become rich with healthy stuff in the food. The food would be fruit and vegetables.

3.They practically made up sandwiches.
4.There cooking is usually over open fire.

Then and now
Cooking was important in Egypt culture because. If they didn't have cooks there would be not that much food and the people would eventually die of hunger. That's why it was important to have cooks.
